A leading facilities management company in Borehamwood is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a temp to perm position. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified and have experience in commercial building maintenance. Key responsibilities include electrical installations, lighting tests, and plumbing work. Offering an hourly rate of £25 and a Monday to Friday schedule with immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations and fault-finding.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and maintenance.
  • Monitor BMS System and perform plumbing duties.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Borehamwood

Commercial Building - Temp to Perm - £25 per hour - Immediate start

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you have Commercial Building maintenance experience? Are you looking for work in Borehamwood?

Exciting opportunity to work for a FM service provider based in a commercial property in Borehamwood. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer for a temp to permanent position. The successful candidates will be Electrically qualified with a proven track record working with building maintenance. In return, the company is offering an hourly rate of up to £25p/h.

Key duties & Responsibilities
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing – Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors

Hours of work / Shift pattern / Rates: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday, £25p/h, Temp to perm, Immediate start

Requirements
  • Electrically qualified
  • City & Guilds – Level 2, 3 and 18th edition
  • A proven track record in Building Maintenance
  • Good Leadership & Management skills
  • Safe systems of Work Procedure – PTW, RAMS experience
  • Health and safety and statutory compliance knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships both internal and externally
  • Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office
