Are you a maintenance engineer with an electrical bias? Do you have experience working within a heavy manufacturing environment?

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a niche manufacturer that is market-leading in its industry. The company values its staff and invests in their development, offering opportunities for career progression within a global organization.

This role is ideal for electrical maintenance engineers with a strong background in manufacturing, especially in heavy industries such as metal works, steel processing, foundries, or brickworks. Candidates should be apprentice trained, time served, or have equivalent experience. An 18th Edition qualification is advantageous.

Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include electrical maintenance in a large manufacturing setting. You will perform reactive and preventative maintenance on various heavy machinery, including induction furnaces, casting lines, mills, rolling and annealing lines, conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systems. PLC work will mainly involve Siemens S5/S7 systems. You will also participate in continuous improvement projects and facilities maintenance as needed.

This position offers a varied role within a supportive team environment, with high earning potential through overtime paid at premium rates. You will work in a state-of-the-art rolling mill facility, with ongoing training and development opportunities.
