81895 - Electrical Fitter
This Electrical Fitter will report to the Project Engineer and will work within Capital Programme based in our West Ham office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £43,904 plus Inner London Allowance + benefits and a bonus of 3%.
If you are successful, you will need to undertake a medical and DBS reference check.

To work as part of a team, carrying out the full range of duties associated with Primary and Grid substation construction at voltages between 230V and 132kV.
Installation and testing of all plant, apparatus and cables associated with the Grid, Primary and Distribution network.
Fault location and repair of all plant, apparatus and cables associated with the Grid, Primary and Distribution network.
Supervise work undertaken by UK Power Networks contractors.
Ensure that all staff for which you will be responsible work to the DSR and to demonstrate a strong safety culture.
Use IT equipment
Supervise construction / maintenance staff within their working party
You will play an important role in the safe completion of Capital & Connections Works Programme. You may work at any location within the UK Power Networks region they have been employed.
You would undertake training to increase your skills that could lead to progression within the organisation and may receive salary and band progression upon achieving the higher authorisation levels.
