Job summary

A well-established construction company in Swindon is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years’ experience in pricing commercial electrical projects, strong technical knowledge, and excellent estimating skills. This role offers a competitive salary and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. You will work closely with project managers to ensure timely project delivery and manage costs effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience pricing commercial electrical projects.
• Ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately.
• Meet tender return deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Estimating new electrical enquiries and preparing tenders.
• Conducting site surveys and attending tender interviews.
• Ensuring material orders are placed on time.
• Providing updates on contractual and financial issues.
• Issuing payment or pay-less notices for large projects.
• Working closely with the Project Manager to keep project within budget.
