As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll design, maintain, and develop the electrical infrastructure that supports the production of over a million tonnes of sugar each year - a true example of engineering on an industrial scale.

What you will be doing
  • Gain experience in power generation and distribution, including steam and gas turbine systems.
  • Work with high-voltage and low-voltage networks, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Support automation and control systems, from digital protection to modern control technologies.
  • Contribute to upgrade and improvement projects focused on energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Take part in capital projects - from design and specification through testing, commissioning, and delivery.
What you will need
  • A minimum 2:1 degree (or predicted) in Electrical, Electronic, Power, or Energy Engineering.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to diagnose issues and suggest practical solutions.
  • An interest in large-scale industrial systems and how energy supports sustainable production.
