Qualifications

  • Must have City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 certification.
  • Experience required in Commercial or Manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assessments and inspections of electrical installations.
  • Visit client sites across the Edinburgh area.
  • Make decisions on the condition and future use of equipment.

Electrical Engineer Surveyor

Salary: Basic from £41,714 + Company Car or Car Allowance £4,250, Benefits

Location: Edinburgh

A large Blue-Chip organisation is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to cover the Edinburgh area. Working on a Monday-Friday basis with flexible working hours, you will be required to visit client sites to complete quality assessments and rigorous inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant items.

Skills required for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 certificate along with a 18th Edition and a City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 / 5 Certificate.
  • Experience of working in Commercial or Manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Inspection experience would be advantageous but full training will be given.
  • Able to work unsupervised and make decisions on the condition and future use of equipment.
  • Able to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence customers.
  • The ideal candidate must live in or around the Edinburgh area, preferably with a EH postcode.
