A leading medical device manufacturer in Scotland is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to ensure compliance and the safe operation of electrical systems across the site. You'll set maintenance standards, lead improvement projects, and develop training in electrical competencies, requiring qualifications like the 18th Edition certification and a degree in Electrical Engineering. This role is vital for maintaining our infrastructure and driving performance improvements.

Qualifications

• High Voltage Approved Person qualification is preferred.
• 18th Edition certification is required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a completed electrical apprenticeship with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain electrical maintenance standards for all equipment.
• Develop and manage competency standards for high voltage and low voltage operations.
• Lead projects to upgrade and remediate site electrical infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

Skills

High Voltage Approved Person qualification

18th Edition certification

Experience in manufacturing environment

Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering
