Electrical Engineer - Building Services Consultancy

Location: London. Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. Excellent Training | Hybrid Working | Varied Project Work.

I'm working with a well‑regarded building services consultancy that is growing its electrical team with the addition of an Electrical Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in building services design who is looking to develop their skills further in a supportive and forward‑thinking environment.

The role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of building services projects – from surveys and reports to design, coordination and delivery. You will work alongside experienced engineers and other disciplines to deliver well‑considered, practical electrical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the design of electrical building services systems (lighting, power, distribution etc.)
  • Producing specifications, drawings and calculations
  • Attending design and technical meetings
  • Contributing to condition surveys, feasibility reports and project documentation
  • Collaborating with other team members and supporting junior staff as needed
  • Working with design software including Amtech, Revit and BIM
  • Taking part in ongoing training and professional development
