Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative. They should be an apprentice trained qualified engineer with PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day automation engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on PLC systems, HMI systems, and inverters it would be advantageous; the site has a variety of PLCs and you will have programming ability on PLC systems, ideally Allen Bradley. You will be able and willing to work on wrapping machines, forming machinery, drives, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other process machinery. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.

Qualifications

The candidate should come from an electrical engineering background, be able to work on own initiative, be an apprentice-trained qualified engineer, and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience.
