Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician
Up to £52,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fault‑finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on EC&I equipment including sensors (pressure, level, temperature, flow), control systems (DCS/PLCs) and electrical plant such as motors and drives.
- Collaborate with fellow Technicians and Engineers to deliver a clear and achievable daily maintenance schedule.
- Support plant improvement projects, modifications and upgrade work across the site.
- Assist with outage and shutdown activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records through the site CMMS.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors when required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Time‑served apprenticeship in electrical, electronic or related engineering discipline.
- Relevant engineering qualification at HNC level or above.
- Proven hands‑on maintenance experience across control, instrumentation and electrical systems within a heavy industrial environment (power generation, refinery, chemical, steel, paper, etc.).
- Experience using a CMMS for work planning and reporting.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Team‑focused attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a small, skilled engineering team.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
- £2,100 location allowance
- Bonus scheme up to 20%
