Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed ONC/HNC in engineering (or equivalent), NVQ, or C&G Level 3 Electrical 18th Edition qualification.
  • You have industrial experience.
  • You have instrumentation and telemetry connection experience.
  • You have demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • You have a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Perform reactive and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Replace and calibrate instruments, install new systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • Adhere to industry and customer standards, as well as Z-Techs policies.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Van + Fuel card + benefits

Contract type: Permanent

Are you an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technician looking for your next challenge? Join our client's MEICA and Capital Maintenance team at Morrison Group, where they deliver essential infrastructure services for life.

In this role, you'll be carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation across various sites. From fault finding and repairs to installing and commissioning new equipment, you'll be instrumental in keeping their systems running safely and efficiently.

What You'll be doing
  • The delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls and instrumentation.
  • You will perform reactive and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and repairs.
  • You will replace and calibrate instruments, installing new systems and equipment, and commissioning, all in line with BS#removed#th Edition standards.
  • You will ensure compliance with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • You will adhere to industry, British, International, and customer standards, as well as Z-Techs Policies, Procedures, and Safe Systems of Work.
  • You will be working across various sites, utilising your Z-Tech van and company fuel card.
