A leading energy company in the UK is seeking an Electrical Compliance Lead to ensure the safety and compliance of electrical systems. You will oversee high voltage operations, mentor staff, and manage safety documentation. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience with high voltage networks and strong leadership abilities. You will be responsible for electrical systems compliance across all of Vattenfall Heat UK's electrical infrastructure. As the subject matter expert on electrical systems, you shall be the Lead Authorising Engineer for the UK business as well as advising and supporting projects on electrical equipment, design, and commissioning.
You will be responsible for ensuring that permitted activities on all of Vattenfall\'s electrical apparatus are following suitable Safe Systems of Work that comply with legislation and ensure safety from the system, and its application. You will be the custodian and co-author to the company\'s electrical procedures and Safe Systems of Work and that the operators are sufficiently trained and competent to undertake the work.
