Job summary

A leading talent acquisition consultancy in the UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Architect for a 6-month contract based in Stevenage. The role involves designing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working with a top-tier Defence and Aerospace company. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in electrical engineering and related fields. Competitive pay at around £80 per hour, within IR35 guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the electrical architecture and requirements for products.
  • System electrical requirements.
  • Interface definitions and characteristics between subsystems/equipment.
  • Power architecture, including power budget and power profiles.
  • Data communication and processing architecture.
  • Requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screening.
  • Signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals.

Electrical Architect – Overview

6 month contract • Based in Stevenage • Offering circa £80ph Inside IR35
