A leading utility provider is seeking a driven Education Officer to deliver engaging programs across schools and communities in the Worcester and Gloucester area. This role requires strong communication skills, a Full UK Driving License, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a highly engaging and experienced Education Officer, to come and join our Communications team in the Worcester and Gloucester Area. You'll be working across the region to deliver our 'Wonderful Water' tour to thousands of school children and local communities, helping to improve their lives and the environment both now, and in the future. In this role, you'll be able to give people the opportunity to learn about using water wisely and what not to put down the toilet and sink whilst helping to deliver key environmental messages that provide long‑lasting behavioural change. Giving an insight into the world of Severn Trent you'll help enhancing our reputation with everyone you meet.
You’ll be travelling to schools and various locations on a daily basis, which may also be outside of the Worcester/Gloucester area.
You will join us with a background of working with a variety of ages and audiences including young people and demonstrable communications experience, alongside a customer‑centric way of thinking and a 'right first time' attitude to your work. You have strong presentation skills and will be adept at working in a fast‑paced environment.
Due to the nature of this role, it's essential for you to hold a Full UK Driving License and have both the ability and willingness to travel across our region on a regular basis. The role is Home Based but the majority of your work will be based in Worcester and Gloucester.
