Our commitment to support SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision and the children and young people of our borough means our team continues to grow! Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Co‑ordinators are committed to ensuring that children and young people receive the right support at the right time from the right place.

We are looking for five colleagues to join our EHCP Team on a full time, permanent basis.

What will your day look like?

You will be working with Children and Families in a dedicated team of EHCP Coordinators. This is a team dedicated to giving support, demonstrating compassion and ensuring the voices of children, young people and families are heard at each stage of the process.

You will be supporting an assigned caseload of children and young people in ensuring they have an accessible, transparent and meaningful care plan to support their education, health and care needs.

As part of a wider multi‑disciplinary team you will be building key relationships with Education, Health and Social Care Professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our children, young people and families.

Who are we looking for?

A background in education and/or SEND support is preferred. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple caseloads with conflicting priorities. You must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues across and outside our organisation.

Most of all, you must have the voice of our young people at the heart of every consideration.
