Are you passionate about human rights and committed to ending ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and harmful practices? We are seeking an Education & Youth Development Coordinator to develop and deliver our Education and Youth Engagement project and programmes for campaigning and awareness raising on HBA and harmful practices.

Responsibilities
  • Have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the Education and Youth development programme, part of the Training and Education project.
  • Develop and support the youth education programmes, and support the Training & Development Manager with any other relevant training and community engagement.
  • Work with Savera UK Youth Collectives to develop and ensure meaningful youth participation and delivery of projects and programmes that align with Savera UK’s mission to end HBA and harmful practices.
  • Work closely with the wider Savera UK team to collaborate and assist with any relevant information around education and youth engagement.

  • You are a passionate advocate for human rights and social justice.
  • Able to manage challenges effectively while modelling self-care.
  • Experienced and with expertise in working with young people within education and community settings.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent skills in project and programme development, management and delivery.
  • Able to use creativity as a form of engagement.
  • With high levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Able to inspire and embrace change.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
