St. Andrew’s and St. Mark’s CofE Junior is an outstanding school (Ofsted 2021) that believes in developing teaching talent. As such, all teachers in our school have been with us from their ECT year. We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join us in September.

What do we need from a new teacher in our school?

We are looking for a teacher who :

  • is a highly capable classroom practitioner
  • has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • is able to motivate, inspire support and promote the ethos of the school
  • is keen to develop professional expertise
  • is creative and flexible
  • enjoys working with supportive parents, governors and the wider community
  • is a practicing Christian or is in sympathy with the ethos of a church school

Teachers have strong subject knowledge. They make excellent use of resources such as the science laboratory and the design and technology room. (Ofsted - December 2021)
