Job summary

A leading global fashion brand is seeking an Ecommerce Assistant to join their team in Southend-on-Sea and Central London. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of UK experience, proficiency in Photoshop, and familiarity with Shopify. The role involves managing digital content, optimizing product presentation, and contributing to the brand's online success. In return, a competitive salary between £35,000 to £38,000, 25 days of annual leave, and additional employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Ecommerce role in the UK.

  • Assist in curating 'Complete the Look' sections.
  • Organise and optimise product categories.

is proud to partner with a leading global fashion brand who are currently seeking an Ecommerce Assistant to join their team based between their Southend on Sea and Central London offices.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive Ecommerce Assistant to be part of a dynamic team supporting reputable global brands and to enhance online presence, manage digital content and ensure products shine across all platforms. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same.

To Be Considered

You must meet the following criteria and have a minimum of 3 years’ UK based work experience in a similar role.

Requirements & Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial
  • Experience with Shopify and other e‑commerce platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • SEO knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Good IT literacy, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Colour Swatches: Manage and update product colour swatches to enhance product presentation.
  • Complete the Look: Assist in curating and managing the "Complete the Look" sections to promote related products.
  • Optimise Categories: Organise and optimise product categories to improve user navigation and searchability.
  • Merchandising: Implement effective merchandising strategies to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Daily Site Audits: Conduct daily auditsparticipants to ensure all content and functionalities are up‑to‑date and working correctly.
  • Support with CRM: Provide support with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tasks and initiatives.
  • Support with Product Descriptions: Write and update product descriptions to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and SEO‑friendly.
  • SEO Work: Perform search engine optimisation tasks to improve the website’s visibility and ranking.
  • Imagery Support/DAM Portal Support/Resizing Assets: Manage digital assets, support the Digital Asset Management (DAM) portal, and resize images as needed.
  • Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite Skills: Utilize Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite tools for various design and content tasks.
  • Support with pricing Amendments: Update product pricing as required.
  • Replenishments/Stock Ordering for Shoots: Handle stock ordering and replenishment to ensure availability for product shoots and inventory needs.
  • Support with updating Shopify Website: Regularly update the Shopify website with new assets, text, and product information.
What’s in It for You?
  • £35,000 to £38⚙000 (depending on qualifications & experience)
  • 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays
  • Additional days holiday between Christmas and New Year if the Directors decide to close the business
  • Standard working hours 9 to 5:30 - 30 min lunch = 40 hours a week
  • 1-day WFH after probation and training at the company’s sole discretion (non‑contractual)
