Job description

This is an opportunity to work as an Eating Disorders Practitioner, in a small, multi-disciplinary community team - Bolton Community Eating Disorder Service. We have a full time post available. The successful post-holder will work with people who live with moderate to severe Eating Disorders, delivering high quality talking interventions and co-ordinating individual's care. The service is currently undergoing an expansion as a part of the wider Community Mental health Transformation, which means that the post will provide opportunities to work in new ways with people, prioritising early intervention, easier access to treatments, expanded group work and working with carers. It is an exciting time to be joining CWP Eating Disorders.,

Responsibilities
  • Working with people who live with moderate to severe eating disorders.
  • Assessing people and delivering talking interventions, as well as identifying and managing complications arising from Disordered Eating.
  • Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure good quality care to people living with an eating disorder.
  • Liaising with other providers and stakeholders to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Attending the Clinical Network Meeting and partaking in service development and clinical governance initiatives.
