A children's service organization is seeking a dedicated Early Learning and Childcare professional to join their team in Portlethen, Scotland. The position involves supporting the Early Level curriculum and ensuring a safe environment for all children, including those with Additional Support Needs. Candidates must commit to quality service delivery and continuous improvement. This is a fixed-term role with a requirement for PVG Scheme registration and SSSC credentials within three months of employment.
Act as a member of an Early Learning and Childcare team, working within an Early Years setting in Aberdeenshire, with involvement in the work of the Early Level curriculum, and where appropriate, the pre-Birth to Three Framework whilst under supervision from the Early Years Senior Practitioner.
Provide general support in relation to the needs of individuals' care, health and wellbeing and safety and ensure a secure and safe environment for all children (including children with Additional Support Needs).
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
This is a Children's Service Network (CSN) post. Initially you will be based at Portlethen Primary School Nursery, but you may be required to work elsewhere within the Portlethen CSN. The successful candidate will be employed on a 52.18 weeks per year contract.
