Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Runcorn. The role involves providing individualized support for a pupil with Speech & Language difficulties, assisting with general classroom duties, and implementing tailored strategies to promote development. Ideal candidates will have experience with children with special educational needs and strong communication skills. The position is full-time until the end of the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Early Years children and pupils with SEN.
• Willing to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Speech & Language difficulties.
• Assist the class teacher with group work and daily routines.
• Deliver tailored strategies to support Speech & Language development.
