Job description – Early Years Practitioner

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the early years
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
  • Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's development and behaviour
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children

Qualifications

Job Details

Schedule
  • 10 hour shift per day, 7.30am to 6pm. 45 minute lunch break
  • Monday to Friday (4 days only, with 1 day per week off)
Education and Experience
  • Education: Minimum Level 2 in Early Years Childcare within Nursery setting
  • GCSE or equivalent (required)
  • Experience: Nursery: 1 year (required)
  • Nursery experience: 1 year (required)
  • Childcare: 1 year (required)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licensing and Location
  • Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Ability to Commute: Wigan, WN6 0SS (required)
  • Ability to Relocate: Wigan, WN6 0SS: Relocate before starting work (required)
