Are you a dedicated Early Years Nursery Practitioner looking for your next exciting opportunity?

We are looking for a full time, dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join the team at this wonderful nursery located in Barking, East London. This is a lovely nursery that acts as a home away from home environment for children, with dedicated rooms, sensory play areas and a private outdoor garden, making it a great place for any passionate Early Years Nursery Practitioner to work and to see children's development from a young age.

Salary would be £26k-£30k per annum and this is a permanent position. Located in Barking, this nursery can be reached easily thanks to the excellent transport links and staff parking!

Responsibilities
  • Creating fun, engaging and safe environment for the children
  • Teaching within the EYFS curriculum and following the Early Years Framework
  • Communicating with other team members and parents/guardians
  • Supporting children under 5 with their personal, social and emotional development
  • Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills
  • Helping children to build on their social skills, self confidence and to form positive relationships from a young age
  • Carrying out observations and planning activities based on progress

Qualifications

For this Nursery Practitioner role, a relevant qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential, and prior experience working with children under 5 within a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
