Qualifications

Early Years Assessor

£26,444 per annum

37 hours per week

Location: East Riding College, Bridlington

About the role

This is a fast‑paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with Programme Leaders to provide high‑quality and responsive assessor support. As an Early Years Assessor, you will evaluate and support students training to become childcare professionals, ensuring they meet national standards, especially within T‑Level qualifications in Education and Childcare. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of childcare professionals. The primary responsibility is to assess learners working toward qualifications, ensuring they demonstrate the required competencies to become Early Years Practitioners.

About the person

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare or equivalent and an assessor qualification or be willing to work toward one. You must have hands‑on experience working in early years settings, with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework with strong observation and documentation skills, with the ability to deliver constructive feedback. Excellent communication and time‑management abilities are required and familiarity with the T‑Level curriculum and occupational specialism standards is highly desirable.
