Overview

Early Intervention and Prevention Practitioner

Pay rate up to £26.97 per hour

Contract role

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Early Intervention and Prevention Practitioner to work in a team in Enfield Council.

Responsibilities
  • Hold a mixed caseload of Out of Court Disposals, including Triage, Youth Cautions, Youth Condition Cautions alongside of children eligible for Diversion work.
  • Undertake effective assessments, planning, personalised intervention support and reviews in line with the YJB National Standards and local practice.
  • The role will ensure that children within youth justice system are treated as children, supported in a trauma informed and restorative way to achieve best outcomes and staying safe whilst ensuring that victims and general public are safeguarded.
  • The role will be responsible for supporting prevention work to reduce first time entrants in response to local needs and will be expected to work effectively in partnership with a diverse range of professionals.
