Overview

As an Early Career Scrum Master on the Intranet Experience Team, you will play a vital role in enabling our team to deliver seamless intranet solutions. You will facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, helping the team adhere to Scrum principles and practices. Your efforts will help remove impediments, coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, and support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy product backlog. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to improving employee experiences across multiple intranet platforms and gain hands-on agile leadership experience.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and coach the team in Scrum practices.
  • Remove impediments and support the team in achieving sprint goals.
  • Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy and ordered product backlog.
  • Contribute to improving employee experiences across intranet platforms and drive continuous improvement and agile values within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience is accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Basic understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Entry-level Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I).
  • Internship or project experience in a software development environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
