Early Years ECT Required

Are you an ECT who has experience with EYFS/ Early Years experience? Are you looking for a new full‑time role supporting pupils in a nursery & Reception class?

I am currently recruiting for an Early Years Teacher/ECT to support a whole nursery or reception class in Manchester (M33). The position is a long‑term role starting January 2026 and will involve working five days a week.

Aspire People has worked with this school for a while and feedback from staff is consistently positive. The school is known for offering contracts and promoting people from within, such as ECTs who work as HLTA.

As an agency-employed teaching assistant, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff. The following expectations apply:

  • Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
  • QTS/PGCE
  • Regular assessments of pupils
  • Able to engage in learning activities
  • Confident supporting pupils with Autism and non‑verbal needs
