A leading waste management company in Greater London is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain equipment and ensure minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent and experience in a heavy-duty industrial setting. Responsibilities include conducting PPM, fault-finding, and liaising with contractors. Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in a heavy-duty industrial environment, e.g. power station.
• Demonstrable experience in installation and PPM work.

Responsibilities

• Provide breakdown repair service and conduct effective repairs.
• Implement PPM on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.
• Liaise with outside contractors for repairs and maintenance.

Skills

Electrical experience in a heavy-duty industrial environment

Experience in PLC controlled equipment

Experience in analysis and repair of pneumatic systems

Experience in variable speed drives

Logical and systematic fault-finding approach

Education

NVQ level 3 or Trade certificate
