There is an exciting opportunity for a placement student to join the Dyson Farming Research Team. The successful candidate should be dynamic, enthusiastic, and hands-on. This experience will allow you to acquire knowledge and skills that will support your academic studies and help you develop the practical, interpersonal, and business competencies needed in the workplace. Working alongside our experienced Research Team, you will gain insight into our unique business and build a foundation for future career plans. The role will require effective collaboration with the team to ensure the efficient running of Dyson Farming's research trials. This will be a 3 month fixed-term contract.
You will be assigned a Student Placement Mentor who will support you throughout your placement and tailor the experience to your interests and course requirements. Additionally, you will undertake a research project based on a real-life challenge faced by Dyson Farming. This project will help you develop key skills such as project management, communication, and time management. You may also have the opportunity to present your findings to the wider Dyson Farming team and clients at our Summer Research Meeting.
