Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with a highly respected Further Education College located in Warwickshire. We are seeking a Dyslexia Coordinator and EAA Assessor.

Role

Role: Dyslexia Coordinator & EAA Assessor
Location: Warwickshire
Start: ASAP
Hours: 37hrs
Job Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee dyslexia support and coordinate the Exams Access Arrangements (EAA) process. This role ensures that learners with additional needs receive high-quality, consistent support throughout their learning journey.

Responsibilities
  • To carry out initial assessments of learners - to establish their starting points and plan support that matches learner aspirations and learning goals/ outcomes.
  • To track, monitor and review learners to ensure that their support needs are met, including their EAAs.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to establish learners' starting points.
  • Develop and implement personalised support plans aligned with learners' aspirations, goals, and outcomes.
  • Promote the use of assistive technology as a standard part of daily learning practices.
  • Manage a caseload of learners, setting and reviewing targets to address barriers to learning and support achievement.
Education, Skills and Requirements
  • Degree qualified
  • A current Assessment Practising Certificate
  • Experience of completing EAAs for learners with additional needs
  • Working with an FE College 16 - 19 year olds
  • Experience of producing Support Plans and termly reviews of progress
  • A specific interest in Dyslexia and knowledge of targeted strategies that support learner achievement
  • Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
