A local education recruitment agency is seeking a proactive Secondary Classroom Supervisor for flexible supply positions across Ulverston and Kendal. Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with young people (aged 11-16) or in a coaching/educational setting.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and reliability for daily bookings.
  • A professional and flexible approach to working in different schools across Ulverston/Kendal.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Supervising students in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Delivering pre-prepared work (no planning required for daily supply).
  • Managing student behaviour effectively, adhering to school policies.
  • Collecting completed work and ensuring the classroom is tidy.
  • Establishing positive working relationships with students and staff.
