Dual Registered Manager – Children's Residential (EBD)

Walton-on-Thames, Surrey — Salary: £61,784 - £67,859 per annum (DOE). Overseeing two Good‑rated small homes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic dual registered manager to lead and oversee two established, good‑rated EBD children’s homes in Walton‑on‑Thames. These small, stable services support children and young people aged 8‑18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing a safe, nurturing environment where they can achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management across both homes.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding legislation, and company policies.
  • Maintain and improve the existing Good Ofsted ratings through high‑quality care and strong oversight.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff teams to deliver therapeutic, child‑centred support.
  • Drive continuous improvement, cultural development, and operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and reporting for both settings.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, external agencies and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a registered manager within children’s residential care.
  • Strong knowledge of EBD, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards).
  • Ability to lead multiple teams and services effectively.
  • A proactive, resilient, and child‑focused approach.
