Dual Fuel Engineer - Orion

As a Dual Fuel Engineer with Orion, you’ll enjoy a stable, full-time PAYE position with excellent pay, bonuses, and benefits.

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification in Smart Meter Engineering
• MOCOPA certification (completed on induction if not already held)
• CMA1 certificate or CCN1 & MET1
• Valid driving licence
• Clean DBS check (recent CRB certificate within 3 months preferred)
• EUSR card (advantageous but not essential), driving licence, passport, gas certificates, MOCOPA, qualification/diploma, NI number, references, and DBS.

We’re now expanding our team and are looking for experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to install meters in domestic properties as part of our growing national contracts.

Pay & Package Options

• Salary Package: £45,000 per annum, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided.
• Guaranteed Day Rate Option 1: £200 per day, paid via Umbrella PAYE, company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided.
• Guaranteed Day Rate Option 2: £275 per day, paid via Umbrella PAYE, engineer provides own van & fuel, tools & uniform provided.
• CIS Option: £240 per day, engineer provides own van, fuel & tools, uniform provided, Monday to Friday 8am‑5pm (1‑hour lunch), minimum of 4 jobs per day / 20 per week, optional weekend work once weekly targets met.

Bonus Breakdown: KPI Bonus

• £150 per month for achieving 75% completion of your jobs in a calendar month.

Attendance Bonus

• £150 per month awarded for full attendance and no sick days in a calendar month, pro‑rated for holiday taken, call‑out 1 week in 4. Standby payments Monday‑Sunday.
• Price per job: £150 per dual, £80 per single, £50 per transactional job. Saturday work available. Paid day rate.
