Overview

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Secondary School in Pontypridd. We are actively recruiting for DT Technicians to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

Our DT Technicians play a vital role in DT workshops, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a DT Technician doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and skills within a workshop environment.

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.

Responsibilities

The successful DT Technician will have:

• CACHE LEVEL 2/3- OR 6-months experience within a DT/woodwork environment
• Experience either in a DT workshop or woodwork experience
• They would be confident with working with wood e.g. cutting shaving
• Be dedicated to helping in the classroom where needed
