A leading life sciences organization in Slough is seeking a Downstream Processing Technician. The Technician will manage buffer preparation activities while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsibilities include formulating buffers, completing batch records, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates should have a secondary school or Bachelor's degree, proactive communication skills, and preferably some experience in a GMP environment. This position involves both weekday and weekend shifts.

The Downstream Processing (DSP) Technician will be responsible for the daily execution of the buffer operation. The Technician will be expected to learn and carry out the basic skills used in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment and help to run the area and communicate to other teams. The Technician will work on buffer preparation activities as well as performing a list of daily tasks.
Hours of work are 6am to 6pm with both weekday and weekend shift work in rotation. The shift pattern is 2 days working, 2 days off then 3 days working and 3 days off.
