Vacancies have arisen for Driver/Attendants to work for Bolton Council's Integrated Transport Unit, to drive 16‑seater minibuses to and from schools and day centres transporting vulnerable children and adults.

The post is both challenging and rewarding to the right candidate.

Job Details

• Part‑time contracted 25.72 hrs (Pro Rota).
• Term‑time and casual posts available.
• Applicants must hold a D1 licence.

Core Hours

• 07:30‑10:30 and 14:45‑17:15 Mon‑Fri

Essential Responsibilities

• Work with children and adults who have various needs with dignity and respect, and communicate with parents, carers and school staff in a friendly and understanding manner.
• Be flexible, motivated, follow instructions and deal with emergencies calmly.
• Position is customer‑facing under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.
