Overview

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest! You will need the following driving licence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top quality products on time and in an efficient manner, driving your van using automatic technology to pre‑plan routes and pre‑load your van.
• Interact with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Work on a shift pattern that may include evenings, weekends and any of the 5 days out of 7 working days, with shifts from 05:30 to midnight.
• Comply with all safety and company procedures, including Drink‑Anywhere‑work, and attend any training.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Over 18 years of age to handle alcohol products.
• Good communication skills, with a great attitude.

Employment checks

We will conduct a Licence Check, Right‑to‑Work Check, DBS and other necessary checks before offering the role. Once all checks are completed you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start.

Working patterns and Pay

The role is a permanent, full‑time position (40 hours) with paid breaks. You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, with shift patterns of AM & PM. Shifts begin as early as 05:30 and can end as late as 12:00 midnight. Pay is £13.75 per hour as a base rate, with additional overtime premium pay for evenings and weekends. Overtime rates: £16.58 for day shift, £17.98 for evening shift.
