GSL Education London Branch are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to work at a welcoming coeducational secondary school in Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to inspire students, build confidence, and bring learning to life through performance and creativity. If you are a dedicated Drama Teacher who enjoys making a real difference, this long-term role could be perfect for you.

As a Drama Teacher, you will join a supportive school community that values the arts and encourages student expression. The school is looking for a Drama Teacher who can engage learners of all abilities and deliver fun, structured, and inspiring lessons. This role is ideal for a committed Drama Teacher who is ready to start in January 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages
  • Inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Support school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
  • Work closely with other staff to support student development
Requirements
  • Qualified Drama Teacher or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for Drama and the performing arts
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
