Job summary

A UK-based property maintenance company is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer in Essex. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the domestic gas and plumbing industries, along with the relevant certifications. Responsibilities include diagnosing and servicing boilers and central heating systems as well as plumbing works. Qualifications

  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing.
  • Domestic ACS gas safe certification (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1, CPA1).
  • Previous experience within the domestic gas and plumbing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and fault find on boilers & central heating systems.
  • Service and breakdown of domestic gas boilers and central heating systems.
  • Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.

Skills

Previous experience within the domestic gas industry
Previous experience within the plumbing industry
Full Driver’s Licence

Education

City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in plumbing

Domestic Gas Engineer / Gas Engineer – Essex

Basic salary from £40,000 / Monday – Friday work / 21 days holiday + bank holidays / Van + fuel card / Ongoing training provided & funded

We are a UK-based property‑maintenance company that offers a wide range of services including plumbing, electrical work, heating and boiler repairs, drainage, and general home maintenance. We operate rapid emergency response times across London and surrounding areas, servicing both domestic and commercial clients.

Due to ongoing company growth, we are now seeking new gas engineer & plumbers to join our well‑established team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and fault find on boilers & central heating systems
  • Service and breakdown of domestic gas boilers and central heating systems
  • Plumbing works: installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Field based – customer facing position
Essential Qualifications / Experience
  • Previous experience within the domestic gas industry
  • Previous experience within the plumbing industry
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing
  • Domestic ACS gas safe certified (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1, CPA1)
  • Full Driver’s Licence
Benefits Package
  • Basic salary from £40,000 (Plumbing Engineer starting at £36,000)
  • 45 hour working week: 8am‑5pm
  • Monday – Friday work (weekend work optional with overtime rates)
