A leading healthcare provider in Lancaster is seeking a Domestic Assistant to ensure cleanliness in clinical and public areas. The role offers full training, a competitive salary, and a supportive benefits package. No experience is needed for this 37.5-hour position, which includes additional payments for weekend and evening work.

Be part of the Facilities Team at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary as a Domestic Assistant (cleaner) to support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
The role is a 37.5 hour vacancy. 5 days over 7, 07:00-15:00. No experience necessary, full training will be given and uniform provided.

We operate from three main hospitals—Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal—as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre. FGH and the RLI offer a range of General Hospital services with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services. WGH provides General Hospital services, an Urgent Treatment Centre, and services for non-life-threatening conditions. All three main hospitals provide planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery, with local outreach services and diagnostics from community facilities across Morecambe Bay. Our community services for adults are provided in people’s homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals and our main hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health and manage their conditions through high quality care, advice and support.
