A leading utility services provider in England is looking for an experienced Metering Supervisor to oversee training standards and operational readiness in water metering teams. The role involves ensuring operatives are appropriately trained and supported to carry out their work safely and efficiently. We are seeking an experienced Metering Supervisor to oversee all training standards, operational readiness and capability across water metering teams. Acting as the link between operational training delivery and the planning teams, the Trainer Supervisor will ensure all training is suitable and delivered to company standards. They will ensure planned work is realistic and allocated in line with operative competence. The Trainer Supervisor will monitor and drive performance, compliance and continuous improvement across all aspects of DMO workstreams including training and live working and will directly oversee the Metering trainer, ensuring their workload is suitable and appropriate to meet operational requirements. The Trainer Supervisor will ensure that operatives are appropriately trained, authorised and supported to carry out the work safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. The metering trainer is a hands on operational role, responsible for actively delivering and embedding high quality metering throughout Yorkshire. This role combines practical field involvement with structural training delivery. The role requires regular time spend in the field and M-Groups training facilities working directly alongside operatives to deliver on the job training, coaching and support.
Working hours 07:00 -16:30 Monday to Friday. However, there may be times that you are asked to work outside this working pattern depending on business requirements and operational needs, therefore it is important that the successful candidate is flexible and willing to support the business when needed.
