Night shift - 10pm to 6 : 30am

The Role

A permanent full-time opportunity for a Team Leader – Distribution Night shift to lead a high-performance team in Salisbury.

Our Salisbury site in Adelaide’s northern suburbs manufactures milk and milk-based products. This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.

Reporting to the DC and Depot Leader, you will lead the DC team at the Salisbury site to achieve set targets and, ensure that the required systems are in place to achieve the Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental targets and meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve targets and drive improvements across the site
  • Actively seek Continuous Improvement opportunities and gain input and buy-in from the team to achieve great outcomes
  • Ensure the department’s processes and procedures meet safety, quality, and environmental requirements for equipment, materials, processes, methods, and people
  • Utilise problem-solving practices to identify the root cause and create action plans to resolve issues
  • Maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a manufacturing / warehousing environment
  • Sound knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving techniques
  • Strong leadership and people management background
  • Good communication skills and the ability to influence the team members / stakeholders
  • Change management / Project management skills (Desired)
