Litigation Solicitor - Dispute Resolution

Location : Ashford, Kent

Salary : £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE)

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join a respected regional firm within their expanding Dispute Resolution team. This role offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, genuine career progression, and the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This position will suit a solicitor with solid litigation experience who thrives on variety and is looking to develop further within a dynamic and client‑focused practice.

The Role

You’ll handle a broad range of litigation matters, providing expert advice and representation to both individual and corporate clients. The work will include:

• Commercial and residential landlord & tenant disputes
• Building and construction disputes
• Professional negligence and contractual disputes
• Partnership and shareholder disputes
• Debt recovery and insolvency (corporate and personal)
• Contentious probate and inheritance claims , including:

• Contested wills and inheritance disputes
• Inheritance Act claims
• Removal of executors and estate disputes
• Financial provision for dependants
• Property and intestacy issues

You’ll also play an active part in the continued growth of the department through business development and networking initiatives.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with a strong background in general litigation or dispute resolution
• Experience across one or more of the above practice areas
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Client-focused, commercially aware, and confident managing your own caseload
• ACTAPS membership or contentious probate experience advantageous but not essential
• Team player who enjoys collaboration, with a proactive approach to professional development
