A leading optical services provider in Builth Wells is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient healthcare services. You will dispense prescriptions, offer advice to patients, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Strong communication skills and a Pharmacy Advisor qualification are essential. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for career development.
The hourly rate for this role is £13.32 and up to £15.05 across selected locations within London.
About the opportunity: As a Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals in your store to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. Working within the healthcare department of the store, you will build strong relationships with patients by listening and understanding their needs, greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and providing advice using your healthcare knowledge to support patients in making informed decisions about their health and wellness. This is a role based in-store within the UK. Remote applicants will not be considered and applications from candidates outside the UK will not be progressed unless relevant UK qualifications and right to work can be confirmed and evidenced.
Working with evolving technologies within store, you will have the opportunity to work with new systems to develop dispensing processes, which helps to improve patient safety and release time to spend more time with patients.
You will receive regular updates and training to develop your healthcare knowledge, as well as career development options including the opportunity to train as a Pharmacy Technician or as part of the store leadership team.
