About The Role

FGR Community is committed to reducing barriers to participation and creating opportunities for everyone to get active. As Disability Football Officer, you will play a key role in engaging participants of all ages with disabilities through football and physical activity.

You will lead on delivering inclusive football sessions in schools and community settings, develop disability-focused programmes and events, and work with partners to ensure every participant has a safe, positive and enjoyable experience. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion, has strong communication skills, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of all participants.

This role is part-time 24 hours a week, on a 1 year fixed term contract.

Main Objectives : Session Delivery
  • Plan, deliver and review high-quality disability football sessions in schools, community clubs and external venues.
  • Adapt coaching methods to meet the needs of individuals and groups, ensuring sessions are fully inclusive.
  • Promote positive experiences for participants, encouraging confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical activity.
