A leading provider of functional assessments is seeking a Disability Assessor to join their team in Norwich. This role involves interviewing claimants to evaluate their disabilities and writing reports for the Department for Work and Pensions. Candidates should have at least 12 months of clinical experience. Full-time hours are from Monday to Friday, with a salary of £39,500 and various professional development opportunities offered.

After completing our unique training programme, you’ll use your healthcare skills to assess people applying for PIP or WCA benefits and write complete, clear, fair, and accurate reports as part of the Department for Work and Pensions’ Health Assessment and Advisory Service (HAAS).

As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. By completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means you will assess how our claimant’s disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.
Salary: £39,500
Type: Permanent (Hybrid)
Full time: 37.5 hours (9am - 5pm/Monday - Friday)
