An established industry player is seeking a Director of Research Science to enhance its thought leadership in the market research field. This role involves providing expert consultation on sampling and methodology, conducting detailed data investigations, and delivering training sessions. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in market research, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a deep understanding of research theory. This position offers the opportunity to influence the research landscape while working collaboratively with internal teams and clients, making a significant impact in a dynamic environment committed to quality and innovation.
Reporting to: Vice President, Research Science
The Director, Research Science is responsible for furthering the position of Dynata as a thought leader with our clients, internal stakeholders, and in the marketing research/first-party data industry. As part of this objective, they provide expert consultation and guidance to clients and internal teams on sampling/methodology issues and/or issues impacting the research participant experience, helping to set quality standards and build quality and methodological rigour into Dynata’s work. They speak authoritatively on these issues, carrying out research-on-research, creating material and content (e.g., for articles, POVs, training), and giving presentations and training for internal, client, and industry audiences – all of which demonstrate convincingly Dynata’s commitment to quality and sound research methodology. Although working closely, day to day, with AMER-based colleagues, the role is based in EMEA and has an EMEA focus.
