Overview

Biovire is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations within a fast-paced pharmaceutical / medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, planning, production logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution to ensure seamless and compliant delivery of product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GMP-compliant supply chain practices, regulatory requirements, and a track record of optimizing operational performance and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team covering procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and customer fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant global regulatory requirements in all supply chain operations.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and capacity planning to support manufacturing schedules and customer orders.
  • Optimize sourcing strategies and vendor relationships to reduce costs, ensure quality, and mitigate supply risks.
  • Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Implement and improve supply chain systems, KPIs, and reporting tools to ensure visibility, traceability, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Facing teams to align operations and support new product launches.
  • Lead initiatives in supply chain digital transformation, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to proactively address supply disruptions or opportunities.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, experience within pharmaceutical / medical device manufacturing or similar regulated industry but not required.
  • Proven knowledge of supply chain best practices and cold chain/logistics.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning tools.

Physical Requirements
