Job Description

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement, and manage digital marketing platforms and channels, including the website, social media channels, and marketing technology platforms.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with the bank's business objectives, informed by market research, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Create compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, optimize online content for search engines, and manage paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions, using analytics tools to measure and report campaign performance.
  • Manage marketing technology platforms as applicable.
  • Maintain and update digital marketing platforms and channels, such as websites and social media.
  • Develop content for partner channels and assets as needed.

Director Expectations

  • Manage a business function, contributing to strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures. Lead complex projects that may span the entire organization.
  • Lead a large team or sub-function, fostering a performance-driven culture aligned with company values, or act as a technical expert and thought leader for organization-wide projects.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management and influence strategic decisions.
  • Oversee resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, monitoring external environment and advocacy groups when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of industry practices and external developments.
  • Use analytical skills to solve complex problems and design solutions.
  • Make significant strategic decisions within own area, influencing stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Act as the primary contact for key clients and partners, and serve as a spokesperson for the function.
