Job description

You'll be accountable for agent and customer facing operations products utilising the Salesforce platform, as well as supporting the service infrastructure for AXA Health's insurance positioning in the UK, growing and maintaining a product that really matters to our customers - their health insurance. You'll define, own and solve customer and business problems within a multi‑disciplined team and lead a cross functional squad across AXA Health in a matrix structure, to discover and execute against your digital product needs. You'll own and manage the product or service through its lifecycle stages and continuously manage and optimise performance for millions of people. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at either our Tunbridge Wells or Bournemouth offices, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Create the digital product vision and strategy for your product domain, translating AXA Health mission and objectives into a compelling digital product vision, strategy and plans.
  • Lead discovery, identifying priority problems to solve whilst ensuring your products are commercially viable, technically feasible and usable for customers.
  • Discover and prioritise product optimisation opportunities that continuously improve outcomes for customers, ensuring alignment with AXA Health commercial goals and product OKRs (objectives and key results).
  • Work collaboratively with other product, proposition and service leaders on new product innovations that impact your product domain, ensuring any wider commercial growth initiatives have necessary domain input.
  • Maximise business and customer outcomes, working in collaboration with product engineering and product design, leading successful delivery through product delivery phases.
  • Be the accountable Product Manager on a scrum team, defining user needs and translating them into user stories and backlog deliverables. Along with your delivery squads, define the minimum viable product and make decisions about backlog priorities and sequencing.
  • Define, own and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring outcomes are oriented and aligned to business strategy, with full visibility to stakeholders of all levels.
  • Establish clear product goals, performance KPIs (key performance indicators) and reporting, and ensure clear alignment to business strategy and commercial outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Proven Digital Product Manager experience within a service domain.
  • Strong customer centric attitude and approach.
  • Salesforce and insurance experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstratable working understanding of design, technology and data principles.
  • Ability to lead, influence and inspire a team and the people around you to deliver at pace in a matrix organisation.
  • Operations and lifecycle management experience.
  • Strategic thinking and keenness to stay up to date with digital business and market trends.
  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
  • You'll need to show you meet the essential criteria as detailed in the job advert or job description.
  • You don't need to share the details of your long term health condition or disability for your application to be considered under this scheme.
